Thanks for your comments GBsmiley - smiley

These constellations were too far south and are too 'young' to have been given 'Proper' names by the ancient astronomers. I've written that into the text and filled in their interpretation in place of the name.

Space after Milky Way>>> tick.

The Air Pump? Brilliant smiley - biggrin

'Notably at its centre is a binary star system.'

Why is that notable?

'In 1997 an unusual spheroidal galaxy The Antlia Galaxy was discovered within Antlia's borders.'

What is unusual about a spheroid galaxy? Or is this spheroidal galaxy particularly unusual among other spheroidal galaxies?

I think a lot of these Entries could be improved, just a bit, by explaining why these phenomena are interesting and significant. That's my only criticism of these Entries, is that they do seem to be written with the astronomer in mind. That's no bad thing, but I'm a guy who likes to lie on his back looking for shooting stars, and it would really make my night if I could look at some distant sparkle and say 'You know what's great about that one?' I'd read these with absolute joy if they gave me a little snippet here and there for those cold, starry evenings smiley - smiley

Hi Deke smiley - smiley
NGC 2997 has its own APOD webpage, although it doesn't give its name so I can't help you there.

Hi Deke, according to http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap961030.html NGC 2997 is 55 million light years distance, not 55. smiley - smiley
