I quite like this entry. It's short (I have a short attention span and tend to zone when reading longer entries) and not too technical. It truly is a basic guide to the sea and I like it! You may wish to break it into two or three sections, and get some more specifics in it, but otherwise, it's spifferrific!

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

A description of the seven seas and (however many) oceans would be nice smiley - smiley

Search around, go to some search engines or check a book out on the subject, you'll easily find what you're looking for. Mention the glowing fish that live in the deeper parts of the ocean, and tropical and temperate water fish as well. Remember, not all the same kind of fish live all over the world.

2 minor things.

could say that the sea covers 68% (or more than 2/3) of the earth's surface instead of the majority.

The appearance of the sea is also affected by the sediment beneath it. Nice white coral sand normally shows up the blueness a bit more.

. . . and whereas movies like Jawas etc. make the sea scary. There are some movies that make the sea seem like a fun place to be.
