I'm cheating a bit and re-writing an entry I did for The Post for inclusion into the Edited Guide...
I still need to put in some links, but I reckon the text is in fairly good shape.
Let me know if it needs anything.

Hi, Jimi!
Another really interesting and readable entry!
My only concern is that the title is a bit bland - I don't think it's eyecatching enough.
What about:
'Drop something big on New Year's Eve - a Pennsylvania tradition'?
I think that might attract more readers...
typo alert (hell being a sub-ed, isn't it?)
There's a missing space in the footnote

Thanks!
See what happens when I create a footnote solely to link to another entry?
That'll teach me.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
