Hello and Welcome to h2g2 LoneFaery
I found your article an interesting insight.
It's unfortunate that there will always be some people who see the disability first and the person second, instead of the person first and the disability second.
But, I'd imagine and would hope they are a small minority.
In my opinion, this would make a good Edited Entry, and would get read by more people.
Normally, Edited Entries need to be written in the 'third person' with exceptions, and your is titled and written the way it would be excepted. You can find out more at Writing-Guidelines
I could have just clicked 'Submit Entry' but, I'm not 'comfortable' with doing that. I believe the author should make the decision as to whether they want their entry submitted.
If you would like a second opinion as to whether this would be suitable for the Edited Entry, I could ask on the Scouts Home page for someone to come read it, or you could do that yourself. I'm offering, because it's part of my 'job' as an ACE to help newbies, and because I think this entry deserves to be more prominant.

Hi Emmily
Thank you for the welcome, I am glad you liked the article.
If there is anything you would like to see submitted that I have written feel free to submit it. I thought about submitting it but I am still a but shy doing so as I am a newbie still.
If you are willing to ask one of the scouts to read the article and feel it is worthy of being an edited entry, I would appreciate it very much.

Hi again LoneFaery
it's taken a couple of days to get back to you. Everytime I've logged on, somethings happened & I've had to log off again before I could get round to replying to you.
again, seems I was wrong, Scouts don't think this would be suitable for Edited Guide, though it's already part of the Guide. All atricles become part of the Guide, just that some get 'polished up' and become an Edited Entry. The Scouts did however suggest it would be more suited to <./>ThePost</.> if you want to give it a 'bigger audience'.
