A Conversation for TRIOLET

It's so nice to see

Post 1

Wildman - I'm not really mad, I've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years!

It's so nice to see
that I'm not alone here,
I tremble with glee
It's so nice to see
that it's not only me,
please accept a small beersmiley - ale.
It's so nice to see
that I'm not alone here.

With apologies to the real poets on H2G2!

I have no idea who it was , but someone spoke of * the wriggling , giggling horrors of Austin Dobson's triolets *

I would apply it to any triolet I have ever seen

Hey, Wildman,

Delighted you could join the fray. I only noticed your reply this morning. I had rather given up hope of anyone being interested in triolets. Nice one, too.

Indeed, Austin Dobson features largely in the "Canterbury Poets" the book in which I first met the dreaded Triolet He's only awful if you expect him to be good. At times he is an extremely clever versifier. But one would never accuse him of poetry, it would be unfair.
