Wow. That certainly does sound like it hit you hard
How are the feet and eyes now?
My brother has type I, and I remember when he was first diagnosed. He'd been running low temperatures, losing weight and all that. But I don't the severity of it hit me, until a year or so later, when he went I think into a hypo. He went into some type of fit, and I remember that there 4 or 5 strong men who had to carry him into the ambulance.

efftw the same, but my eyes are catarac free due to operation last year.

ok. I guess you have to go for regular check ups on your feet and all?
So do you actually suffer from epilepsy as well?

That sounds horrible
So do you take insulin twice a day, or four times? I understand some people have to take it 4 times.

2 times a day...I can nto check myself due te birth defect...I was born with one kormal hand and one with 2 fingers.
