David Ogden Stiers was also a guest in the Fraiser episode 'Father and Sons' and is worth putting in as it was on a par with the Trek episode.
The fact I like is the way in which the decision was made stop making the series: the 7 main cast members voted 4 to 3 to finish. The 3 who wanted it to carry on were Harry Morgan, Jamie Farr and William Christopher which is how AfterMASH came about.
