Hmm.. what a revelation you are my good dear Doctor type person... oh yes indeed... You portray your cast of characters so vividly that me could almost think they were real and not some work of fiction brought about by eating to much cheese....
Well done that man... keep up that good work...

*smacks own head off desk*
Ah, that's better.
A WHOLE office!!!
Anyway, my argument would be this.. a Christian should not be offended, as my article is a post-modern satirical side-swipe, through the medium of literature, at the commercialisation of Easter in general and the eating of chocolate eggs in particular.
And who knows?
Maybe jesus liked easter eggs.

Hi Dr D
Your story is pure gospel in every resect but one, namely, there's no way Easter can happen in May.
First Sunday after first full moon after equinox < 1 May.

You flatter.
Dr D knows me as a philosophy head.
There's a story about a university; the bursar said to the physicists (when they sent in their budget) "Why can't you be like the mathematicians? All they want is paper, pencils and rubbers! Or the philosophers -- they don't even need rubbers!"

A great quote Recumbentman
Dr DF has, as always, livened up my Wednesday night editing shift enormously. I have taken to keeping a box of tissues to hand to wipe away the tears of laughter.

Thanks for all your feedback.
It really makes my day.
Recumbentman:
The Physicists reply-
"Yeah, but the philosophers usually just eat their pencils, and they make their paper into silly hats."

Good stuff - I enjoyed this a lot. The Bunny Hop dance made me think of something in the news recently - soldiers in an African country had been making people who weren't polite to them at checkpoints bounce down the road on their haunches - sometimes news and fiction coencide...
