You can't actually 'subscribe' as such to <./>ThePost</.> as it is a 'named entry' page which is updated every week. We tried a pilot scheme a couple of years back asking people to subscribe to our journal where we would publicise every week when the latest edition was available, but this didn't seem very popular.

The best thing to do is to help yourself to one of the freebie links offered here F19815?thread=255074 and then you can just click straight to the latest edition - usually ready around 2am BST on a Thursday morning.

I lurked on Wednesday night & found a bloody great duck swimming across my Hootoo Home of Today space! Very agressive it was too, demanding "Read ! Read !"

--As if I don't!! (Plus bully as many other people into doing so as possible!(About time we resurrected that "raise profile" thread again?!)

I did write a nice, long, witty response to the duck, but sadly, the gremlins currently invading hootoo decided it was impossible to post this, so I had to content myself with complaining rather unpleasantly to the beeb.

By the way, I've seen a sneak preview of spim's cartoon entry; if he doesn't win that prize, there is truly no justice in life, the universe & everything!!!

I always lurk Wednesday. I'm glad time zones work the way they do, 'cos when Shazz thinks most are asleep, and puts the entries up, it's only 7:00 here

Lord love the duck!

The Duck isn't aggressive - just persistent.

It's not so much thinking that everyone is asleep Jodan, more thinking that it's about time *I* (and Greebo!) went to sleep!

Mind you, last night was loooking extremely dodgy for two hours as neither I nor Greebo could even get in to h2g2!

I definitely have my fingers crossed for spimcoot - he's offered to pay for my air ticket to the meet if he wins - he may come to regret that!!

Definitely on hootoo at the moment; so even more congratulations than usual on getting it out on time shazz & the gang!

I do hope spim has done his budgeting properly; not only is he offering you air tickets; he's offering me a trip on the Orient Express!!

We shall see, let's just hope he wins it; the picture certainly deserves to.
