That's the whole idea!! That's what they want us thinking. The real truth is that the politicians don't want the public to know what drugs the reporters are on as this will seriously hinder their chances of buying the truth at a decent price. The only thing Hunter Thompson did was make the whole chaotic miasma public and even then they thought he was a freak.
