Hi Renee . You're update is already a definate improvement on the 'downbeat' original. Even as a 'work in progress'.
My other half & I got married & honeymooned in Stowe, Vermont in 1998 and could not fault the place.
Found the scenery wonderful and the people friendly. Loved Ben & Jerry's at Waterbury, of course . Can't comment on the ski-ing as we were there for 3 weeks end of October early November. Just caught the first snow falls though . Stowe itself was a great base as the mountains surround it and it has good links to everywhere else. Dining out there was plentiful as well. Montpelier was a facinating place with it's main buildings gold color dome. All in all a great place to visit, IMHO. Can't wait to go back sometime....
Keep up the good work.

I didn't respond to this before now! I didn't see it . . . oh, well. Anyway, thanks a lot for your words of encouragement! This Guide entry is slowly coming along. I'm glad you like Vermont, by the way. It's really an excellent place to be. You mentioned that you've never been here during ski season - if you ever get a chance, come! It sounds like you'd like it a lot. Do you ski?

Hey, let me know if you need any help with this. I found it in flea market and am not sure if you are still working on it or whose it is now.

Yes, I'm still working on the entry! I picked it up in Flea Market and have been slowly adding to it and (I hope) improving it . . . but very slowly, since my free time is limited. Don't worry, it will get done eventually! If you've got some good ideas and you'd really like to work on the entry, I'd be willing to collaborate with you on it. What do you think?
