h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The outpost is small, a main administration building, a green hous, a power plant, a small landing pad, a communications building and tower, and a barraks structure all inside a 100 meter squared walled in compound. The outpost is one of many on many outer rim planets that is searching for signs of life from other galaxies.

*The drop ships land. One in the compound and one at each corner of the wall of the compound. The ones at the corner use their dovin basals to rip the corner walls apart. All begin to disgourge squads of warriors*

*The squad from the drop ship that landed in the compound imediately begins slaughtering the running and screamin scientists with amphi-staffs and razor bugs*

*One of the few scientists who has been able to keep his head in all the screaming and running climbs up the comm tower with his hunting blaster, a use full tool on this planet with all the tree tigers about. He gets to the top and takes carefull aim at one of the invading infantrymen and sets the gun to maximum power. He fires, the red blaster bolt iluminating his terrified face, the bolt sizzles across the distance between them and hits a Yuuzhan Vong warrior dead in the chest, but he doesn't fall down, and when the smole from the blast clears, his chest appears to be un-effected. The scientis takes aim again, this time at the warrior's head, he pulls the trigger and the blast vaporizes his head.*

*Before the fallen warrior's body even touches the ground the others swarm towards the tower screaming "infidel" in their language (Tyzo). Three of the warrior's get to the top and suround the terrified scientist, they raise their amphi-staffs to kill him*

*the scientist, weeping with fear now, raises his rifle and fires it at point blank range at one of the warriors, the kick of the bolt sends the warrior flying over the rail and down to the ground. Just after the blast was fires, the other two warriors brought their blades down on his head and back, cleaving his head in two and cutting the remains of him in half*

*The triumphant warriors proceed to trash anything technilogical*

*After 9 hours of trashing things, they are finished. A group of Shapers dplan some large pods around the former outpost then all Shapers and warriors get back in their drop ships and proceed back to their ships*
