I like it all so far, but might I suggest a change to "don't cheer up, be grumpy"? It feels like "cheer up" is the wrong length (I know it's not) and it does seem to express the view that you could, if you wished, cheer up, whereas the situation you are in leaves you with no choice but to be grumpy. "Don't hide it, be grumpy" perhaps?

Agreed, and acted upon. I wouldn't want a PUDDING anthem to imply that cheering up was on the agenda at all.

It's growing on me. It jarred a little when I first read it. I suppose jarring is slightly on the agenda- nothing annoys some people more than a rhyme that doesn't quite go.
