A Conversation for Shaving Your Patient's Face

Have just read your piece on shaving of a patient (I refuse to use the word"Client")and it brought back memories of my nursing days and not just doing facial shaves!! One thing that was omitted from a hospital patients perspective was that the person who was being shaved would normally have the curtains drawn round the bed for that bit of extra privacy, especially if they had needed a blanket bath beforehand.Always preferred to use single use disposable razors to electric ones as they were more hygenic unless,of course, the person had there own electric razor with them.At leats I never had any mishaps with doing a pubic shave, post operatively,on the gents who needed it doing!!!
