In the first paragraph you need a second 'in' between stay and order, in 'These animals change their behaviour and the habitats that they stay in order to try and reduce environmental stresses'.
Later in the same paragraph 'its' needs replacing by 'their' to match the subject of the rest of the sentence.
In Why Dormancy it would read better to have 'be unable to be made habitable' was replaced by 'impossible to make habitable'
In Effects of Temperature on Reptiles 'rigorous' may be better replaced by robust, rugged or hardy, rather than merely spelled as rigourous.
Later in the same section 'dessert' definitely needs replacing with 'desert'
Great entry AFC

'In many ways it is more energetically sensible than 'toughing it out' over the winter.'
'it is more energetically sensible than 'toughing it out' over the winter'
Bit redundent...
(Very end of the entry, BTW)

I've fixed that!
The graphic was done by our very own Jimster, which just goes to prove that he's not always a grizzly old bear, he has a cuddly side too.
All together now:
'Awwwwwwwww'

Gosh Jimster doing art now as well as editing so many of my entries.
FC loves the idea of the picture by the way. She has yet to see it but has had it described by a very verbose researcher she happens to be engaged to and can't wait to see it herself.
Key: Complain about this post
