BigAl Patron Saint of Left Handers Keeper of the Glowing Pickle and Monobrows

My Japanese Englih Language student, Natsuki, who has come to stay for 3 weeks gave me a porcelain desk ornament as an arrival gift. This consists of two figures (Emperor and Empress) before a pair of lamps, and represents Hina Matsuri.
I'm sure Natsuki wasn't aware that my birthday is on 3rd March, so this was totally unwitting.
I shall treasure this smiley - smiley.
