Not the entry's body, it's quite good. But I noticed no mention of the Roman Sauna. Even just a passing mention would have been helpful. Oh well, I suppose this isn't 'The History of Saunas"

This is also true for the oriental 'Hammam', where a thorough massage is an important part of the ritual.
Anyhow, it's an excellent entry. Especially the fact that there should be no strict rules ...
Of course, if you go to a public sauna, there must be some kind of house rules (and we here at h2g2 know what House rules are like, don't we?), but if you are fortunate enough to have your own private sauna, you can do whatever makes you feel comfortable.
