Inspired by the "how old?" question regarding the New town, I thought it might be fun to record some of the silly things that tourists have been heard to say when visiting Edinburgh.
My personal all time favourate is: (in an American accent)
"Gee! Isn't clever how they built the Castle so close to the Train station?!"
Honestly... someone actually said this!

The version i heard was "boy what a lovely castle but why did they build it so close to the railway"

Not really something anyone said but did you hear about the two americans who supposedly bought the north bridge?
