I say thank you for you excellent review of what has quickly become my favorite movie. I watched it five times in three days...then I bought the score (astoundingly beautiful). I can't get Mad World out of my head, and my computer desktop is set to a DD picture! I'm also going to buy a t-shirt with 28:06:42:12 on it, because I can.

So kudos to you for doing a fine summary of a sublime film. I've never been so happy to be confused in all my life as I was when I first saw it! hehe!

I wouldn't mind a T-shirt with 28:06:42:12 on it, are there some available for people to get? I didn't think they were, although I heard people involved in the film got some. Are they available anywhere?

Well, if you live in the U.S., yes. go to www.hottopic.com and search for donnie darko t-shirts, or if you know of a Hot Topic in your area they should have some there. I know the website has some for like 15 bucks or something. I'm definitely getting one! Good luck on your shirt search

I suppose I could order it online, but I don't have enough money and I'm not that desperate yet. I'm not in the US and I think they'll be hard to get here (Australia) so I guess I'll just have to buy my own blank shirt and write the numbers on it it'll look more authentic that way

hey, a t-shirt is a t-shirt! I'd do that too, if I were artsy enough. My numbers would come out less creepy and more 2-year-old ish. hehe

I got a great belated b-day present yesterday (my birthday was in may) A friend who's watched Donnie Darko with me--and thus clued in on my minor obsession with star Jake Gyllenhaal--gave me a frame with a picture of him in it and little hearts all around it! If you knew me, you'd know that's the LAST thing I'd ever buy or want because I'm not mushy gushy. But it was hilarious, and it is a very nice picture tee hee! That's my story for the day.
