Hi there I this article crossed my path and I had to check it out to see if your technique was the one my Late father taught me. I then went on to use it to meet my now husband. My future husband was making Christmas candles for the department store Selfridges. While the candles were hanging as they were cooling, I (who was a Christmas sales person in the Christmas department) pinged his candles with my well aimed elastic band. Eventually he had to ask me how I got such good aim from a distance of about 10 metres away. We are very "exstatic" because of that bit of elastic. Just thought I would share that with you. Serin
