Sho - gainfully employed again

really great to see this on the front page - I hope it inspires some more people to go out and listen to their music (as I did when I saw this in PR)

Thank you Sho - I'm so happy you listened to them after this! I think I may today. It's the weekend, so perhaps one of those mad instrumentals like 'Happy Boys Happy'... 'I Feel Much Better' always makes me laugh too!

And I agree the blob is a masterpiece!

Sho - gainfully employed again

it's irrational, I know, but because my parents had a Small Faces LP (well, they still have it) I'd always associated them with "fogey" music. Which is totally irrational, because they also have some Who and Simon & Garfunkle, who I have always liked.

It's certainly the weather for having a listen, though.

Keith Miller yes that Keith Miller

Could I hop on to this Conga Line of congratulations? It's a marvellous entry and very informative. As for it being Fogey music..well... and S+G weren't? I remember buying Lazy Sunday and casting provocative eyebrows at a Beehived coiffured young gal to the melodious Itchycoo Park. ah..good days, good times.

'Fogey' music?! smiley - yikes

I think, cos I'm stuck in the wrong decade, that I still see them as really young. They were still teenagers even when they made 'All or Nothing.' And I always think the Small Faces and the Faces sound, more than any other band, to be having a brilliant laugh. But blimey, it's 2006 - so I do understand! smiley - mod
