'My Tummy's full!'

Post 1

J

I remember a conversation I had with my mother every dinner

Me - 'I don't want that! My Tummy's full'
Her- 'Oh, you don't want some desert?'
Me - 'I have enough room in my tummy for desert, not that'
Her- 'Then you can eat until the desert space is full'

That clever woman... she was cunning. I almost never got desert without a hassle! smiley - cross

"I have enough room in my tummy for desert"

Just curious - did you prefer Gobi or Kalahari?

We always used to have Sahara after our dinner...

My sister and I have always known that tummies contain two completely separate compartments - a dinner part and a pudding part. There is no way you can fill the pudding part with dinner as your body can tell what it's eating and directs it to the right place. Hence, you can be full up of dinner, but still have plenty of room for pudding!

Synthetic Jesso (I'm not real)

I did the same thing, only it was more compartmentalized; I had more room for chicken than, say, the nasty broccoli. The dessert compartment was the largest, of course smiley - smiley
