A Conversation for Answers to Children's Questions
Awkward Questions

I used to ask about *everything* when I was young - I was just curious. I think one of the best ones would have been when I was about 2, and I was taken to see Postman Pat. Obviously it was a man in a suit, and you could see the man's mouth through the mesh in Pat's neck, so I said, really loudly, infront of all the other kids, "Mummy, why's he got two mouths?" I wasn't a popular kid that day!
My parents always tried to be honest, and explain the answers to my questions in a way I could understand. However, any questions that were related to things I was too young to know about (like sex) were answered with a "You'll find out when you're older".
