A note on the order of classes

I was out of high school almost 20 years when I decided I wanted a degree. I have just last week graduated with my 3.8, and am so very glad I went back to school. I've realized my goal of beating my son to his.

I was aghast, from the beginning, at how many students in my English courses were so relieved that it was their last class. What? Take the classes that could most enhance your grades in all your other classes last? What were they thinking?

Take your English courses early, likewise the math classes. Give yourselves a leg up early. No matter how much you hate writing or math, you will be better prepared for other courses, and the ones you do not like will be out of the way. If you like those subjects, all the better. You can take more enhancement courses on them later.
