HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?)

I think that if you are going to have a page dedicated to "LOOKING AFTER PREGNANT WOMEN" You should also have a link page to advice lines, just in case, god forbid, a woman is having difficulties. I say this, as a mother who lost there child (my son had devloping problems in the womb) as I know how hard it is to seek out the help and advice that couples need during a time like this. Im not asking people to write in about there own experiences or to offer advice to other people, I only suggest that if you have a page like this, then a link page with Help Lines (professional agencies) should accompany this subject. As it is incredibly difficult to find help out there.

We found SANDS - the Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths Society - to be a big help.

On more or less the same topic, if you know someone who is pregnant don't whatever you do keep telling her that if she lifts weights/goes for long walks/does anything strenuous she'll hurt the baby. Those are all things which might cause long term back problems for the mother but they *don't* hurt the baby.

If heaven forbid anything should go wrong she'll feel that she caused it by something she did, which won't be true but will make her feel even worse than she would anyway.

SANDS is excellent( my sister in N.Z. is very involved with them in N.Z.) I think she's the secretary of the N.Z. branch, and I know they helped her through a very difficult time, just by listening to her and being there etc
