EncyBass-: Not going to be around much next week, cos I've got a new job... Posted Mar 7, 2003
That was supposed to be "DUE to health and safety."

My favourites were the interviews with "Lovejoy" and Sting.
"Mr Sting: When you threw the message in a bottle, did you let out a little Tommy-squeaker? I generally do when i throw things"
"If you woke up with an itchy bottom in the night, would you:
a) pick at it wiv your fingers
b) stick it out the window and hope it blows off in the breeze
c) Rub it on your wife's chin?"
But watching Sting trying to keep a straight face, and then slowly collapsing on the sofa was best!

How about offering him a pie and some fags?

Yes, and commenting to each other:
"That's white wine you're drinking isn't it"
"No actually it's transparent. You're thinking of milk"

By the time of the last series they'd also added the "little explosion" to the mix...bizarre.

Never seen them live, I have the 1694 tour on video though.

I've never actually seen them live either, I just meant their "Smell of" and "Bang Bang" instead of the other stuff.
I haven't seen that video either!

I just can't stop laughing at the sketch where Vic sticks a bucket over Bob's head and beats on it with a cricket bat. When he takes the bucket off Bob's got a picture of his face spread across a bucket-shaped vessel.
Classic.

reminds me of their "Stars for Eyes" with the George Michael face mask.
Or that guy with the t-shirt saying "I love you" announcing "Hello... my name's... jim... and I'm... a... murderer"

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
