There's a lot to be said for tabloid format. By 'format', I mean form, shape. Let's face it, who decided that if you want a convenient paper you can read easily on a bus or train, you must have a literacy problem?
I'm glad to see that now the Independent and The Times produce managable-sized papers without turning them into comic books.
Unfortunately though, since Piers Morgan resigned as editor, the Mirror seems intent on following a "Cash Prizes up for grabs! WIN WIN WIN!!!!" approach. Well, perhaps we can't have everything.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
