Actually the politically correct term *is* disabled - due to the disabled communities adoption of the social model of disability(societies structures and attitudes disable people far more than their impairments do)...there is a lot more to it than that but it's a tricky subject to put explain without giong off into essays

You miss my point.
In the first paragraph we see the phrase "..for those who were special needs...".
The idea that some people WERE special needs rather than had special needs is surely abhorrent? We are all more than ajust a collection of needs, special or otherwise.

And you're right people have differing needs...someone would have special needs not be a special need
