I think they met there. Naughtie parties with call girls running around the swimming pool. 
I never got my head around the whole thing.
I'm sorry to hear about your discouragement with the whole EG thing. I remember going balistic, (another spectacular firework display), when "HOw to be the Perfect Mistress" was re-titled "Coping with being a Mistress". COPING! It was a feminist rallying cry, not a social work leaflet!
Another day, another dolour...
