Just got this CD a couple of days ago - it's brilliant. One to play in the car, but not too loudly if the windows are down. One thing not mentioned in the guide - the tunes are really good!

As night shift workers we play this in the office all the time, the funniest moment was when our esteemed female day shift collegue came in early one morning just as the whole shift was singing along to, you guessed it, f**k her gently

Some other stuff to mention is that Tenacious D started off as a comedy program on the american network HBO which is where the sketches originated in some form.

The D originated as a program on HBO, and it also made a series of short films which were shown on HBO seperately from the show itself. The short films, the TV series, the music videos, and a full length concert can all be found on the Tenacious D Complete Masterworks DVD.
