I`ve had this shy bladder for many years. Came to the conclusion it
developed after i had a small operation for undescended testicle, and
a circumcision. They inserted a catheter for the period of me being in
hospital. From then on as best i can remember i`ve had shy bladder. Nothing more embarrasing than going for a leak standing at the trough, just about to release , when another chap comes in, stands at the trough two or three away from me, pisses with force of a hose pipe, and is gone within 30 seconds. I`m still standing there
thinking of waterfalls, running taps, flowing rivers. If no one else comes in then fine finally a steady flow to the finish.
Like many others i always use cubicles now where possible, its much quicker.

Been there done that. oh I sure know the embarressment, incidently I did have testicle surgery, a vasectomy.
I think diferently now! I don't think that anybody takes any notice anymore and If they do or say something, its none of there busines.
I took the focus of me and concentrated on more positive things.

How did you manage to take the focus of you? I've started to be very picky about the work toilets because a colleague has said a number of times he can hear me drop the lid on the loo. I won't use that cubicle anymore.

You wouldn't like our house then Mina- next door can hear us on the loo (and vis versa) And our local pub doesn't have any locks or anything on the doors- in fact, theere is no door into the gents- anyone wanting to go to the ladies' gets treated to the sight of a row of blokes p*****n'.

Oh dear, I'd have to have the radio on all day.
Not sure I'd like the pub either... Although after a few pints I probably wouldn't care!

I distract myself from thinking that everyone is watching and I talk to myself saying,"does anyone really know what Iam thinking"? and the answer I tell myself is no. So I concentrate more on relieving myself.
As if I am alone.
