You don't think you could start this entry be explaining what you are talking about. As someone who doesn't go around mixing cement in my sparetime, I had no idea what this entry referred to. Only when I read a footnote did I find out what you were talking about.

Would you have read it at all if it was entitled "The Placement and Compaction of Fresh Concrete"?

I think the title should have been left as it is. It's a good 'draw'. But the first paragraph should have explained what this is all about. It's a well done article, but it needs a better intro, it's just too confusing otherwise.

Never mind that, you can get big ones that do the work of two men!

i have to agree. i like the controversial titling, but you should have followed it up in the first paragraph or two with an explanation of what you were talking about.
