The Old Trip to Jerusalem

The Old Trip to Jerusalem

Editor's Note: Yet another in the seemingly endless claimants to 'oldest pub/inn/chippy in England'. This one claims 1189, and puts 'ye [Þe] olde' in the title to back it up. Documentation starts in 1799. 'Trip to Jerusalem' referreth to the Crusades. The building rests against Castle Rock in Nottingham. There are caves. Yes, there are tours. Drink your beer afterwards, please.
