St Agnes, Medulin, Croatia
The parish church of St Agnes was built in 1893 and designed by Andjelo Meyer. It is the only parish church in Istria with two bell towers. It is named after the patron saint of the parish, St Agnes of Rome. You don't want to know what happened to St Agnes. She is a protector of virginity, engaged couples, physical purity, lambs, crops, and gardeners. One wonders if she protects the gardens from the lambs, though.
