A Sideways Tribute to Dr Seuss

SashaQ was reading an ebook and came across this sentence:

If Dr Seuss were a narcissus he might have written those words himself.

Never one to look a gift malapropism in the mouth, I forced an AI at gunpoint to come up with this image. I wrote the 'poem'.

A narcissus with a Dr Seuss-inspired face.

I do not like this Dr Seuss

He smacks of whimsy, not of truth;

I do not like him in my book

I will not read it in a nook;

I will not sigh, by babbling brook,

Or read aloud to puzzled rook.

For this plot needs a different twist:

To wit, that he's a narcissist.
