Every spring there's an afternoon when the sun is shining and the lavender is blooming. That's when I get out with my camera and my trusty tripod and my lawn chair and chase bumblebees as they go about their business. Here's a video of some of the fun. This year, two of the scamps decided to give me a hard time by foraging under my feet. It's hard to focus the camera so close up, so you get some funny images. I hope you enjoy spying on our buzzy friends. They're doing God's work, as they say.
