Locomotive driven plans,

But the track's been chewed up


in a Covid landslide.


Sitting here, derailed,


in the siding of my life.


Not the end of the line,


Just a temporary roadblock.


Wheels stopped a turning


But the wanderlust's still rife.


Can't wait for the tremble,


the roar of that ol' engine


Sitting here, derailed,


In the sidings of my life.



Sitting spinning wheels


In Imagination Station.


Daydream journeys


With my kids and my wife.




Hope is now the driver,


Need stokes that engine,


Get us back on track, Lord,


Out of the sidings of my life.
