This Is a Bargain: They Said So

This fun advertisement is from the San Francisco Enterprise, 27.02.1920. It explains (with barely concealed impatience) why all those renters are dumb, dumb, dumb, and why they should buy the advertiser's houses instead. Why, this one has four rooms (not four bedrooms), and even has a built-in Murphy bed! What more could you ask, seriously?

Advert from 1920 explaining why it's better to buy a house than to rent one.
