Not surprisingly, Ignaz Semmelweis is getting a lot of attention in these days of pandemic. I may have first heard about him in a discussion here, or possibly elsewhere like reddit or boofcake. But I heard the name again a few weeks ago as I was looking for interesting podcasts to listen to while working from home. On April 1, 2020 RadioLab had a fascinating hour on Dr. Semmelweis and his story. I highly recommend it. (Available wherever you find your podcasts.)
