The bunny was hopping in the backyard. There was a nuthatch hanging upside down four feet from my head. Quick, I thought, get the camera. I silently set up the tripod. I sat still as I could.

See what happened? That hummingbird hid behind the feeder for three minutes! Everybody flew away with a flirty, 'No autographs, please.' What's a bird paparazzo to do? At least the towhee gave me a pose or two.

So you get what you get.
