Looking across to Liverpool from the Wirral I was privileged to see Oystercatchers digging for shellfish that had been left in the sand after high tide. I like how their systematic approach meant that they formed a band that mirrored the strip of land behind them and divided the image into three distinct zones of sky, water and sand.
