Evolution of Another Idea That Never Took Off
We had an old dog that found it difficult to get into the car, so my wife suggested cushions from the old couch we were throwing out. This led me to think, could we find a solution that incorporated this idea but could become more compact? The cardboard replica was my prototype, based on the design below. I wanted to try to market it commercially, but no-one took up the option and I never had the money to fund it, and the bank / business angels wouldn’t give me the money, unless I could prove I didn’t need it, as some wit mentioned once. I could have gone for crowd-funding, but I didn’t at my age want to start a business. So there it is.
