I was over in the States last week and met a life size version talking doll at the reception desk of my hotel.
In the end it (she) turned out to be human after all, but just made up to look like a porcelain doll in a very accurate way. I guess this one was not for sale and had her own voice...
After sharing this I must add that I very much liked the article about the genuine dolls.
