Bunker Down

A blockhouse that has fallen down on a Normandy beach.

Superfrenchie writes:

The bunker is from WW2, and since it was bound to fall off the cliff because of erosion, the authorities decided to bring it down themselves in a way they could control, so as to avoid any danger to people. It now stands on the beach, on its tip.

We think it's poetic. What do you think?
