Apples Before and After

Apples, what a gift from the trees. Tavaron writes:

I'm sending you a picture of some apples from our garden which I picked with my son last week (I now have troubles to make him understand there won't grow any more apples we can pick every day...). The second picture shows the resulting apple and almond cake, which is now almost gone and which was really delicious.
