THanks for this.I've watched (nearly) all of them.
My most excellent move was that I actually *made* someone buy a dead tree copy of 'Hogfather' a couple of weeks back. He had some others somewhere...
I really hope he's gone back to them.
I, oth, bought a boxed set of Morse, or Inspector Boring as my hubby calls him

Glad you enjoyed reading this – there's more coming soon. But you can never have too much Terry Pratchett
I must admit I missed 'Johnny and the Dead', but have seen all the others and am waiting for them to release 'Johnny and the Dead' and 'Johnny and the Bomb' so I can buy them!

I happened to be surfing the obscure "high channels" on my satellite system a few years ago (in the States) and came across _Hogfather_ shortly after it had started on something called the Hallmark channel. It was quite disjointed by a tonne of rather long ad breaks, but was otherwise a wonderful Chrimbo surprise for me. (I was able to catch a rebroadcast and recorded to my DVR so I was able to see the beginning and skip through the long ads much quicker.)
Since then I've been able to catch most of these though Netflix. I preferred the live action films. And I do hope they make more.
One small detail about _The Colour of Magic_ has made my brain itch. Why did Jeremy Irons give The Patrician a lisp? I don't expect anyone to know the answer, obviously. I'm just curious if it bothered anyone else.

I hope they do make some more to the same high standard, although what will happen now that Terry Pratchett has died? There have been several times that films have been in pre-production only to not actually be made. DreamWorks have had the right to adapt 'Truckers' for over a decade, but will they? Especially as they apparently want to make films about Trolls instead?
If I ever meet Jeremy Irons I'll ask him. However, although he is from the Isle of Wight and got an honorary degree from the University I work at, I've not met him so far, so I don't know if it is particularly likely that I will...
