Irish traditional artistes coining a new name: 1970's folk-rockers The Horslips were playing with words, a la James Joyce (no stranger to the neologism himself) or Flann o'Brien (another author inventive with his words) and came up with a take on "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse". - "The Poxed Fourmen of the Horslips". They liked it so much it became the name of the band.
