On one Cornish holiday we went to a fish restaurant in Mevagissey. There was an option at the bottom of the menu to order any unusual fish they'd landed in that day's catch. I got four very unusual specimens, including a john dory with its big spot.

I tried unusual (for me) fish dishes on my last cruise. I remember the Marlin was tasty but the rainbow trout I once tried wasn't very nice.
