Our high school had a computer, an HP2100A, installed in 1968. Along with 8K of core memory, the Holarith card-reader, the teletype with reperf and 'high-speed' paper-tape reader (5-level baudot code), the computer was loaded with 2nd generation BASIC and FORTRAN IV. It seemed, in the day, that there was nothing that couldn't be done with FORTRAN ...
