A Conversation for Uxbridge Rules for Scrabble
Two-rule Scrabble

In our family, we play a version of Scrabble that has two rules. It's played a bit like the usual game, using the usual Scrabble set. You can make up any word you like, but:
1. You must be able to pronounce it, and
2. You must say what the meaning of the word is.
So a word like 'spprng' might be the noise made when you sit on a chair with a loose spring, and 'flovver' might describe the state of a pigeon trying to make up its mind whether to land or not.
Great fun - no age limit, just a warped sense of humour!

Oooh, I like that! So you can have 'Kazaam' because it's the noise in comics where two object collide.
I like that house rule.
